

Knit Monotype Bag - 2 sessions
The Monotype Bag by Ysold Teague is a versatile size, and would be great for carrying produce and other market finds, a book, or the knitting project you’re currently working on. Worked from the bottom up, starting with a rectangular base worked flat, before picking up stitches to knit in the round. The main body of the bag is worked in an original mesh pattern inspired by crochet and macrame, and is designed to be well balanced and minimize stretch, resulting in a sturdy bag that holds onto its shape even when full.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off.
- We provide: The space and the expertise.
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of the pattern, approx 505 yards of DK/worsted weight yarn, 24" [80 cm] circular in size US 6 and 9 or size to obtain gauge, stitch markers, tapestry needle for finishing.
- Class length: 2.5 hours each session.
