Sea Glass Quilt Top: Machine Applique - 2 sessions
We’ll be making the Sea Glass Quilt top from Cloud9 Fabrics ( 44½" x 53½ "). The sea glass shapes in this quilt design are machine appliqued in place with some help from double sided fusible webbing, making this a great project for beginners to machine applique. (May require some sewing time outside of class to complete the project.)
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident beginner - you have successfully completed Quilting Basics and Patchwork 2 or equivalent.
- We provide: the expertise, tools, and machines.
- You bring: yourself, 2.5 yard Wonder Under or Heat n Bond (double-sided lightweight fusible webbing), 9 fat quarters in coordinating colors, 2 ¼ yards background fabric, and thread to match (we can provide neutrals but if you have a specific color in mind we request that you bring thread and an empty bobbin). Don't forget that we offer 15% off all supplies for any of our workshops.
- Class length: 3 hours each session.
