Knitting - Mae Scarf

In the interest of full transparency, we are offering this workshop because VBJ (hello, that's Virginia, owner of gather here and copy editor) needs structure to finish personal knitting projects. AND this oversized no-wrong-side wrap is perfectly on trend right now. Seriously - wrap this around your face, loop the ends, throw on a boxy overcoat and you'll be fashionable every single winter.

Knitting details: A simple, elegant triangular scarf knit in the round in clean stockinette. Borrowing the idea of knitting a scarf as a tube from commercial knitwear is a beautifully straightforward way to ensure that both sides look identical, and to prevent the fabric from curling. The multi-gauge pattern can be used with several yarn weights, doesn’t require swatching and includes numbers for both an on-trend mini length and a full size scarf, plus a classic bandana / kerchief style. The Mae Scarf is also easily adaptable to any length that maximises your available yardage – perfect for stashbusting! Designed by Ysolda who has always kept up with classic trends.

 Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've knit a scarf and a hat. You know your knits from your purls and aren't afraid of casting on.
