Wooly Waffle Balaclava - two sessions

Ready to knit your coziest cold-weather accessory? This seamless, DK weight cozy balaclava is designed to keep you warm and makes a great gift once you get the hang of it. Decreases taper the head fabric for a smooth transition from the neck into the hood and the stockinette folded hem helps keep the balaclava snug. The waffle stitch keeps this project interesting. Stephen West's patterns never fail to disappoint and we think you'll love this project as much as we do.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've knit a hat. You know your knits from your purls and are ready to stretch your skills.
  
• We provide:  space and expertise
  
• You bring:  yourself, a copy of the pattern, approximately 240 yards of DK weight yarn, US 5 / 3.75mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or one size smaller than larger needle and US 6 / 4mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or size needed
  to obtain gauge. Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.
• Class length: 2-1/2 hours each session for 5 hours total.
