Squares and Shadows Quilt Top - 3 sessions
Make a bold graphic throw size quilt top! Great for beginners to quilting, maybe looking to scale up to a make a larger project (60 x 60”), this design uses just a few basic shapes. You’ll learn how to sew Half Square Triangles and add a sashing border. The accent squares could be a great way to highlight some of the small bits of special fabrics saved in your stash as well!
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.- Level: Experienced Beginner: You’ve taken Quilting I and II, feel confident with accurate cutting and sewing straight lines.
- We provide: the original pattern by Laura Glass, expertise, tools, and machines.
- You bring: 16 Accent Squares: 8 fat quarters OR 16 large scraps at least 7x7” each, Background: 1.5 yards, Cube shadow color: 1.5 yard, Sashing accent 1:½ yard,Sashing accent 2:½ yard
